The Wire article on SC ruling on Govt. support for people in need.

Such biased writing by the agency of a pillar which is supposed to be supporting the constitution. I hope you agree and orchasterize with me.

Who is it am I talking about ? Ofcourse not legislature.

And errr... ofourse, media. Courts are the true interpretor of the constitution, which as they interpret says, in time of harsh realities, frivolous requirements beyond food may become a luxury, order is paramount and we wouldn't risk destroying it increasing our deficit. Because, economy is important. Ofcourse, economy is a term even used in Preamble. Economy is what we are trying to save, ofcourse for a larger cause, by our sacrifices. And, it is for economy. Those who are not placed well enough will eventually be benefited from economy, despite some inequality. Also perfect equality is chaos. So as we all contribute, we limit diversion of structured contributions towards anything but provision of food. Health and other basic infrastructure are provided for. Transportation - it's supposed to be a lockdown. No govt private transportation because edge cases of the enormous poor will be enormous, structured response cannot take that. It would have to rely on help from the people. India is more of a nation-state from its people than its government. Government is the will of the people, and it's will of the people that providing structured interventions beyond and to the extent already in place and universal food is hard, and the nation needs to focus.

Right? It could be a bias? Is it illegal to talk about it directly, openly and publically ? If you're concerned talk about it personally, and ask people you know, who know the ground position, for help and do your part, if there's a problem, before shouting out aloud. Government is just a manifestation of you, and if you lazy or coward or apathetic enough. How can a government be any better. Everyone believes the story, everyone in the over-worked governement machinery, the know-the-reality-practical people who actually run the setup, everyone who is supported well by the status quo and everyone who fears sliding back into this lot. And it's a genuine fear. Deficit may equal to hyperinflation, we are too many . There's no agenda at play, just economics.

Instead of actually doing much about it, apart from speculating, and taking a high of own sacrificial morality, and making intellectual narratives about it, is just plain self indulgent. The attention we seek. For your pleasure.
